The ATSTAR
Process curriculum is designed to provide a
framework to assist professionals as they work toward
determining effective assistive technology solutions
for students with disabilities.
As your team progresses through the
curriculum, they will be introduced to the ATSTAR
process. They will watch a "virtual team of
professionals" step through the ATSTAR process to
determine assistive technology solutions for a student.
After completing the curriculum, your
team will have the knowledge and skills to
develop and implement an effective, assistive technology process.
The separate course, ATSTAR Process for
Administrators, is intended to highlight the
administrative issues related to the program
development, management, and supervision needed to
support assistive technology efforts on your
campus.
